I always had butterflies on the first day of school–actually I almost made myself sick every year! I cannot believe that summer is almost over and the kids and teachers are all back in class. I spent the last couple of weeks visiting schools and working with teachers–doing in-service presentations! It’s always an exciting time!
I hope all of you were ready–had your room ready, your work for the kids ready, and you were rested and ready! Did you start teaching those procedures today? Remember if you want your students to do something, you have to tell them what you want and how you want it done. If you spend the time now teaching procedures, you’ll save a lot of time later! Have a great first week of school–I’m keeping this one short–I know you are too busy to read any more!
